Estate Administration RepresentationEstate administration is the process by which an estate is managed or distributed at the time of death. That person is then appointed a personal representative. If there is no will, the court will appoint someone to be the estate administrator. In either case, there are various procedures to go through. A typical estate plan contains a will, a financial power of attorney, and perhaps a trust or trusts. Living wills or healthcare directives may also have been included in the plan.
